Mary "Bunny" Metivier, 87, of Brockton, died June 24, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents Alfred L. Metivier and Agnes T. Metivier (Callahan), and her sisters Katherine Metivier and Patricia DeYoung. She is survived by her brother Walter Metivier of Brockton, her niece Linda DeYoung of Santa Clarita, CA, and her nephew Michael Metivier of Watertown. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Waitt Funeral Home (850 N Main St, Brockton), with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM at the same location. McCabe (Mike Avola) of Derry, NH; her granddaughters Alexandra LaBelle of North Carolina, Andrea Flynn (Matthew) of Texas, and Nicole Buckley (John) of Bellingham, MA; her great grandchildren Molly Hughes, Jack Hughes, Ben Hughes, Claire Flynn, Colin Flynn, and Taylor Flynn; her sister-in-law Marilyn Cook of Georgia; and her cousin Maureen Haughey of Brockton, MA. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Waitt Funeral Home (850 N Main St, Brockton), with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at the same location; burial will be held at Milton Cemetery Center (211 Centre St, Milton).
