Rahm Little Theater to satisfy the requirement under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 76, Section 12B, which mandates a public hearing before any vote to withdraw from the statewide school choice program. Committee Secretary Mrs. Campbell confirmed no members of the public signed in to speak. Member Mr. Sullivan, noting twelve years on the board, stated that Brockton's practice has been to open school choice participation only to grades 9 through 12 at Brockton High School. The six members present voted unanimously to adjourn the hearing, with a formal vote on participation scheduled for the regular School Committee meeting at 7:30 p.m. the same evening. Ward 1 Member Jorge Vega was absent.
