BROCKTON -- October 14, 2025, Brockton City Council votes unanimously to accept $1.6 million in MassWorks infrastructure funding and advances a $859,400 state stormwater grant. The nine-member council, voting 9-0 on all roll calls at its October 14 meeting, also approved a $246,175 budget transfer from Fire Personal Services to Library Goods and Supplies, a $100,000 transfer from Police Personal Services to Traffic Goods and Supplies, and advanced a $470,000 DW Field Golf Course equipment borrowing order to a third reading after the presiding officer acknowledged having incorrectly brought it to a final vote at the prior session, "that was strictly my mistake."
